    I called the water department about the bill was on hold for about an hour before I got through just to get directed to another person that was not no assistance to me they was read and the information was not accurate. I did not request a hearing yet im going get a plumber out first .

    I called the water department in November, 2011 about an outrageous bill. After being treated very rudely, I followed the advice that I was given and submitted a grievance/appeal and made a good-faith payment. After telephone calls, a second letter, and several e-mails, I just got a response today, yes, 8 months later. The City is only removing approx. $200, from an over $800 bill. I was told that by renovating my bathroom, fixing a leaking sink and toilet, my water bill was increased. So much for increasing home values and for water conservation!
